Coordination of downtime
A skilled A&W employee determines the necessary work on the components of heat exchangers and pressure vessels to be revised and does also manage the transport to/from the A&W facilities. So we offer you the complete service including pick-up from your plant as delivery of the repaired and TÜV-approved components.
New production of tube bundles during shut down PCK – example 1
Production of a tube bundle with diameter 1450 x 6000 with 908 tubes 25 x 2,5 within 7,5 workdays in the 3-layer system made of P265GH/P235GH
- delivery sheet 120 thick within 1 workday, delvery exchanger tube in 4 workdays
- fabricate the tube sheets in 2,5 workdays, parallel
- Laser cutting of baffles (7 pieces) in 2,5 workdays
- Bundle structure and assemblies with 0,5 workday
- Pipe welding (TIG hand) to 1,5 workdays
- Apply the tube to 1 workday
- Bundle insert / water pressure test at 1 workday

Production of a tube bundle with diameter 1450 x 6000 with 1518 tubes 25 x 2,5 / 30 x 2,5 (10 workdays in the 3-layer system) made of P265GH/1.4541/1.4404
- delivery sheet 140 thick within 1 workday, delvery exchanger tube in 4 workdays
- fabricate the tube sheets in 4 workdays, parallel
- Laser cutting of baffles (18 pieces) in 4 workdays
- Bundle structure and assemblies with 0,5 workday
- Pipe welding (TIG hand) to 2 workdays
- Apply the tube to 1,5 workdays
- Bundle insert / water pressure test at 1 workday
